We want to update our pebblecrete pool with new coping edge and concrete/pavers around.
The pool itself is in excellent nic for its age. No cracks on the inside at all. Minimal staining.
Problem is, the edge is not flat, it has decorative rock and sleepers almost embedded into the edge, with some raised areas etc.

I'd be very interested to know how anyone has done this in the past without compromising the integrity of the pool or renovating the entire pool surface?
Really all we want to do is re do the surrounds of the pool, but hope to try 'modernise' it with a new coping.
Any suggestions welcome please.
