Yes I have priced the materials and approx how long it will take to do the work with the help of a Builder friend of mine. He basically said there is just to much work around and not enough tradies. Run an advert on gumtree for a few labourers and offer $25-30 p/hr and be prepared to roll up the sleeves ..I've found even if it takes Twice as long you will still be half the price. Stevef I guess I will need to keep shopping around, I don't mind paying a fair price for good work, but to be ripped off goes against the grain and ticks me off. Yep ,I feel the same way,LOL some tradies think they are gods gift to the building industry Make sure the jobs done properly because structural repairs (several years down the road) can cost 5-10 x the initial cost...goodluck Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13098 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15951 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
