This is so helpful and answers many of our questions about building a pool. We need to find out how an easement at the back of our block affects our pool building dream and we will then work from there.
It's so good to see a breakdown of costs because any initial queries I've made have resulted in some high pressure sales tactics which have put me off.

Looks like you already have your hands full with your new house! Yes, good to get some advice about the easement. The sales rekps should know what they are talking about and tell you if there will be any issues. I've added another entry to my blog.

Old post I know - but if you are around and do get this....
In your pictures I noticed they had concreted around the pool - is this standard? Our quote includes 400mm of coping around the outside but am wondering now if it will also have that extra edge of concrete.
Thanks if you read this!

Hi Louise, are you able to post more about your pool? I cant see a finished, or a fence post anyway.
The pool looks great. I hope you've been loving it.
