Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jan 16, 2016 6:25 pm Looking for anyone with feedback on either of these companies. I've obviously searched the forums already - we probably like the look of the Sapphire pool and its layout is probably better for our backyard but there appears to be more mixed reviews of their service and that of their sister companies. Feel free to send through a message if your prefer. Cheers! Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 2Jan 16, 2016 8:08 pm Hi. Hubby has done a lot of research and we have decided to go with Barrier reef pools when we put our pool in later this year. We have a concrete business and have done liquid limestone for a few customers who have purchased these pools and they are very happy with them. Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 4Feb 08, 2016 4:01 pm We have just put a fibreglass pool in with Sapphire pools. We also went with them, despite reading mixed reviews, because they had the best size and shape pool for our backyard (prices were comparable across most of the pool companies we found). The pool was installed with no dramas and we have no complaints We had a fantastic landscaping company do our paving and a planter box behind the pool too if you're in Perth and after a recommendation. Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 5Feb 09, 2016 8:42 pm Guys this Barrier reef pools reputable in Sydney? Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 6Feb 10, 2016 12:28 am We went with BRP in the end because I read/heard a lot of negative stories about other perth companies. I liked the pool we have chosen as it has no steps inside the main pool bit, and has the safety ledge all the way around. They have been very helpful to date and offered advice with our install, as i kinda stuffed up with the area where pool is to go. Pool is hopefully going in next week, so ill let you know how that bit goes. Thanks Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 7Feb 10, 2016 1:31 am *MJ* We have just put a fibreglass pool in with Sapphire pools. Thanks MJ. Two good reviews on here for Sapphire is encouraging. Unfortunately the sales rep never got back to me after I asked to contact a few recent customers. Rang a few alarm bells for us and it's a shame as we preferred their design and colour choice. Always keen for any recommendations on paving/landscaping! Might have to see how quick they can get it in, especially with their recent ads suggesting three weeks is possible! Haven't seen your building blog in a while (mainly due to my absence)... Hope it's all going well! Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 10Feb 10, 2016 4:30 pm As i said in the other post, I rand Bill from Domain Pools and he recommended Adriatic Pools. Anyone head of them or know if they are reputable? Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 11Feb 15, 2016 8:24 pm As I have said in my thread, I dislike the company Sapphire pools, but not their pool. I have also update my thread today, regarding unsafe electrical work conducted by their contactors. viewtopic.php?f=65&t=72853 Re: Feedback - Sapphire or Barrier Reef Pools 12Feb 16, 2016 1:13 am Hole was dug today by BRP. Hi, I had a barrier reef pool installed less that 2 years ago and the gel coat is already fading. The colour is electric grey shimmer which isn’t available… 0 2665 I’m not a structural engineer but I’m free. you still need an engineer for the plans. I only have part of your plans, but you seem to have a 850mm drop from the side… 3 7754 6 2994 |
