Here's a few pics of some of the options. The square bit in the pool is the spa we added, and the round but inside the fence is a fire pit. We plan to do travertine on the paved areas. So, where should the fence go really? Where should the fire pit go really? Where should the travertine start and stop, what would look the best? Could you just use one side (top of your drawing) for access and use the boundary fence (bottom of drawing where it says 1200mm) for the pool fence ? Assuming the Boundary fence is compliant (1.8m on inside etc), that would give you more room inside the pool along that edge and also mean less new pool fence you need to install ($$).
