Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Nov 19, 2015 3:46 pm I have an old concrete, steel, vinyl lined pool that is in good shape, but the surrounding old pebblecrete slab needs to be restored. This will mean removing the pool fencing while the job is being done (pumping and pouring a fresh concrete slab) around the pool. I've heard that for any work around a pool, it needs to be drained! Surely not? Any advice on if I need to, or how I can keep it safe for qualified concreters to do this work. However, if you were able to cover it, that may suffice. Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea.
