Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jun 28, 2015 1:01 am Hi there pool gurus. I have planned to install a fiberglass pool from the beginning of my build planning. I got the pre-installed pipe works through retaining wall correct but Unfortunately I miss read plans and rather than the area where the pool being filled with clean fill when the sand pad went in, I have been left with a large hole. (Plans said only 300mm fill above NGL which is what i got) I now have very limited access to bring in bulk fill, it can be done but will have to be brought in with a bobcat. My question is, am i best bringing in the fill, then pool company digs it back out again, (I can use it else where on the block) or will the pool company place the pool in and then backfill around the pool? Either way I will seek advice from pool company, but that is probably a year or so off. I just wondered what thoughts may be out there in the meantime.
