Our Zodiac Tri chlorinator has stopped making chlorine - pool chemistry is spot on, salt levels correct, salt cell cleaned, filter cleaned and replaced etc. The control unit is still operating and running the pump on timer, but the cell is not producing any chlorine. The chlorinator is 12 months old and was installed by the company who built our pool - they are not listed as an authorised dealer on the Zodiac website.
The warranty fine print mentions that the warranty will only be honoured if the unit was installed by an authorised dealer. Despite that, I have contacted Zodiac and lodged a warranty claim this week for a service call to come and test the chlorinator.
Has anyone else had to deal direct with Zodiac on a warranty claim? How did it go for you - any problems?
