Getting super frustrated (read 'angry') at the lack of communication. Did get a delivery of the pebble this morning, however that may be just to shut me up as I am sending emails everyday trying to get a date. Sigh. Not holding my breath /quote] Very similar to our experience last year. Everything other than the interior was completed before the Xmas break, but the interior was not done until 28 February (a.k.a. the last day of Summer) Good luck! That fills me with confidence...not! I'm concerned now that the weather will be the issue Wiz Built @ Brooks Reach Built the Verdelho Guest with Beechwood Re: Pool build underway....finally! 38Dec 12, 2014 7:44 am WizardofOz I'm concerned now that the weather will be the issue The weather shouldn't affect them doing the interior. They actually did our quartzon interior on a rainy day while working under a big tarp they brought with them. It's basically a quick drying render material, so it's worked on while it's wet anyway - they started filling the pool the minute they finished the interior, so a bit of rain won't hurt at all. Well that's interesting, they keep reminding me that it is dependent on weather.... I am not a whinger nor a squeaky wheel by any stretch of the imagination usually, however this whole process has left me spent. Maybe I am naïve, but I have NO IDEA of the process of building a pool, so being told what has to happen or what will happen AFTER the fact constantly throughout this process has been incredibly infuriating. The interior contractors that did our pebblecrete today were amazingly efficient. There were here at 6am and were done by 1pm. They came back at 5pm to acid wash and put the hose in. ONE DAY!! It took just one day..... http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah4/kells_bells1/beginning1_zps43b3a30f.jpg http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah4/kells_bells1/beginning3_zps5ccf5496.jpg Count them...yes, there were 5 of them! http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah4/kells_bells1/beginning2_zpsd0a9605d.jpg The hose goes in!
