Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jun 28, 2014 11:28 pm Hi we have just installed a new fibreglass pool. We included the pipework allowance for a water feature (it is centred at the back of our rectangular pool) HOWEVER building the wall that would house the water feature, just a straightforward water blade, was too hard! What now? The aggregate is going down next week and I have a white poly pipe popping up at the end of the pool. Been to one water feature place but she tried to sell me a water feature with pump! I need help! Any ideas?? Thanks Phil Re: Pool Water Feature or not such a feature! 2Jun 29, 2014 10:24 am Hi Phil with the following info I can help you. Are you looking to build yourself or have it built? Just a feature wall or storage too? What type of finish stackstone, tile, travitine or render ?Does it form part of the fence ? Do you have a solar blanket you could hide behind wall? What area are you in? Cheers andrew Re: Pool Water Feature or not such a feature! 3Jun 29, 2014 1:14 pm wheeliworks Hi Phil with the following info I can help you. Are you looking to build yourself or have it built? No...I need someone to build it Just a feature wall or storage too? No I can't have a feature wall, I thought maybe just a plinth with the blade coming out of the plinth with an urn on top. What type of finish stackstone, tile, travitine or render ? Render Does it form part of the fence ? No the colour bond fence is about 1.9m behind the poly pipe Do you have a solar blanket you could hide behind wall? No solar blanket being stored in garage, its not a big pool What area are you in? Applecross Thanks Andrew! I though I might get aggregate guy to box an area around the poly pipe to make room for plinth foundation?
