Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 May 15, 2014 2:40 pm Hi All, Haven't been here for awhile I have just received plans from a structural engineer for our swimming pool, the engineer has stated the pool to be a Limestone swimming pool (plastic lined), this isn't what we asked for, we wanted limestone retaining wall and brick cavity filled swimming pool - anyway my question is, has anyone heard of a limestone pool? I'm worried about a limestone pool eroding away - it would take a very long time but is this a valid worry or can it be done and has it been done anywhere? I phoned a vinyl liner pool company but they hadn't heard of a limestone pool before either. I'm trying to get my plans changed around, I checked my email to them and I did expressly state 'brick cavity filled with concrete'. The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
