Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Mar 01, 2014 12:09 am I'm looking to buy a pool alarm, and besides this, rather helpful website on the subject, I haven't been able to find almost anything useful. I'd like to know how am I supposed to know what type of the alarm is best suited for my swimming pool; I read that it has something to do with the size of the pool, and mine isn't very big - it's in-ground pool, about 2 meters deep and and 3 meters wide. Also, I'd like to know if these alarms are considered and proved reliable? And which of them are the most reliable? Where can I find some more information about this? I have two beautiful granddaughters, rather livelly, and I really don't like letting them alone in the backyard; but, even if I am there, I'm actually not as quick as I was a while ago, so, this thing sounds perfect for me. Much obliged. Re: Questions about pool alarms 2Mar 02, 2014 2:50 pm Have you spoken to a pool shop? They'd be the ones (presumably) who stock them and hopefully they can give you more specific advice.
