Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Aug 05, 2013 11:49 pm I'm in the City of Stirling - does anyone know how far from a boundary fence a pool has to be? I tried going to the shire's website but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance! Re: Pool distance from boundary fence - Perth 3Aug 17, 2013 6:21 pm It also depends on whether or not you choose to spend extra money on reinforcements to prevent the neighbours boundary/fence collapsing. If you don't want to do this, I have been told by pool installation company that it needs to be 1.8 m. http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Pool distance from boundary fence - Perth 4Aug 23, 2013 4:35 pm My pool was installed in Scarborough last Dec and sits approx 1.5m from back boundary fence which is a limestone retaining wall on the neighbours property as their lot sits higher than mine. My side boundary is about 1.3m from a limestone boundary fence that i had installed. As part of my pool build I paid extra to have an engineer inspect and certify the installation for submission to council. My own pre-sales queries I could not find any hard and fast rules about specific setbacks other than structural/angle of repose calcs and these can be mitigated if the engineer is happy to sign off. Found the answer. The recommended distance is .... 1 4586 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 11895 You should be able to encase the sewer but you will need it designed and approved and access to lot 580 to do the work 2 12631 |
