Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jun 25, 2013 8:48 am Has anyone used either of these systems. We are looking at the bioniser as we have a child with Eczema. Whilst docotors seem to believe he should either grow out of or only have mild attacks (due to response to treatment so far), we don't want to risk him not being able to swim if it doesn't go away. We were looking at a self clean option (the vantage with compass pools), but it was way over our budget. The Circulator, has its benefits & one is reducing the cleaning time of the pool. Has anyone used either system & what do they think. Both products can be accessed via this website. http://www.bioniser.com.au/ Re: Bioniser & Circulator Pool Systems 2Jun 29, 2013 5:45 pm I use the bionisor when salt can't be used . I find the water needs a small amount chlorine ( about a spoon full per day) to keep the water sparkling. Also as Per the bionisor manual a small amount of salt is required in the water to make the system work. The circulator is just a floor suction. A well designed water reticulation system is always recommended . Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ . The bioniser system uses copper at a concentration of 0.6mg/L as their main sterilisation method. Copper is an essential element for biological organisms and is found in all water sources at low concentrations. It is also a deadly poison at higher concentrations and hense its sterilisation properties. The Australian Drinking Water Guidelines have two standards for copper, 1mg/L for taste and staining and 2mg/L for public health issues. I noticed a bit of poetic lisense on the bioniser site. They infer that stabilizer or cyanuric acid is cyanide which is not true. There is no chance of finding cyanide in a chlorinated pool due to the use of cyanuric acid. There are no carcinogenic compounds containing chlorine to be found in a chlorinated pool. I think this thread is worth a read. http://www.poolspaforum.com/forum/index ... opic=12576 Having said that I would concider the bioniser method but the questions I have don't relate to the use of copper but to the cost of the system, the pump running time and how the system can integrate with my current equipment.
