Browse Forums Pools & Spas Re: Pool Fencing (Perth) 10May 20, 2013 9:38 pm AubinGroveFan Zarli You can get it much cheaper than that now. Frameless has come down to around $400 pm now That's good to hear but what about the quality? Any recommendations on whom to use? Quality should be fairly reasonable across most reputable installers. Basically everyone imports the glass & stainless from china, Singapore etc. these mills all have to meet Aus standards. Don't let the fact it's all imported product scare you, if they didn't do that then you'd be paying 5x what you are. I guess check review sites for poor reviews, speak to the installers themselves and get a general feel for them. Ask for a written quote, check that panels will look uniform (mostly same sizes rather than all different sized panels to fit the gaps). Check your getting 316 stainless spigots if you're going frameless. Ask if you're getting spring hinges or hydraulic hinges included in cost (hydraulic is self closing and more $$) ask about warranty/insurance. Re: Pool Fencing (Perth) 11Jun 10, 2013 11:31 pm We also are about to get our pool installed and are about to go around for quotes on fencing? We are based in Lakelands (just north of Mandurah) what figures are people getting at the moment for semi and frameless? ( we were expecting ~$400 for semi, and $550 for frameless). Expensive business this building a house Re: Pool Fencing (Perth) 13Jun 11, 2013 11:58 pm Frameless has come down a bit now. I think my $400 quoted above was a bit low, but it shouldn't be anymore than say $500 per lm The road to success is always under construction House completed April 2011 - slowly making it a home... Me and missus are looking at several companies, WA pool fencing being one of them. Have you heard of http://www.coastal-fencing.com.au ? They seem to be pretty promising too. Curious to hear who you went with and also how much you end up paying.
