Browse Forums Pools & Spas Re: Pool owners- pool fence whilst house being constructed? 7Oct 01, 2012 8:35 pm Kan, We were required to cover it with planks ( chipboard I think we used ) DH ran beams accross the pool and timber supports underneath as well. Pool is only 3 x 5m . Its very stable you can easily walk or dance accross it. Our ss also asked up to run the warning barrier tape around it for extra insurance. You would have to be a blind tradie to not notice it. Our pool is only 1 metre away from the alfresco. Can send you pics if you want it. Re: Pool owners- pool fence whilst house being constructed? 8Oct 13, 2012 12:15 pm KAN Interesting Judy. I thought that may be the case. Thanks for your reply For anyone in NSW who installed a pool prior to building the house, did you need to erect a fence when pool installation was complete? Or, could you wait until the house was completed? Hi Kan. Our pool was dug and concreted before our house build started. It now has a temporary fence around it, similiar to the fencing you have when the house is being constructed. Once we have hand over of the house next year, we can finish off the pool. I think we will need to get a permanent pool fence before it is completely finished, but exactly at what stage to completion I am not sure. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in!
