New to the property market so any advise will be really appreciated thanks, John We had a similar slope but also sloping downwards from the house as well. Our solution was to build the pool in the left with the bottom left corner about 1.5 out of the ground. We then used the excavated material to as fill to level the area and slope down the hugh sides. From a cost viewpoint the pool builder said no real difference as more reinforcent is offset by less excavation. Using the out of ground as a feature or a infinity edge looks great. How big is the block & what is the fall? . If it is acreage can you use excavated dirt to batter down on the low side this is the cheapest option. You can retain it or leave pool out of ground & deck around it. What size pool are you looking at? Cheers andrew A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 223637 Need advice on the backyard plan above.
