Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 May 29, 2012 12:01 pm HI, we are looking at getting a small plunge pool to put in our backyard. We first wanted a spa but came to the conclusion that as much as we love the thought of hopping into it on cool nights, DH and I really dont like the bubbles. Our kids could still use it as a splash pool during the warmer months. So then we thought swim spa. More room for the kids and still good for a few mates to come over and sitt and enjoy. But still dont like the bubbles. After talking to friends and family with spas themselves, they have notice they have their kids using it as a pool and them just as a bath.lol So they suggested a heated plunge pool. Perfect for what we want. I really need to pic some brains. Show me what youve got please. post a pic What have you got, how much did it cost to buy and install? Is it costly to maintain? Thanks Forrester 43sq We have our keys (3/6/11) Now it's time to decorate (that's the fun part.lol) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37598 Re: show me your pool, spa etc 2May 30, 2012 10:09 am any???? I used it for swimming training but my kids use it for playing. These come heated so you can use it all year round. If you are going to If you are going to get small pool you should think about how often you are really going to use it. With this swim system I am still using now and intend on training all through winter. Worth checking them out. Re: show me your pool, spa etc 6Jun 06, 2012 10:47 am wheeliworks - thanks for posting some pics. Esp lovin that last one. Channel07 - Your pool sounds great. If you dont mind me asking... How much? My kids are water babies. They are always going over to their friends houses that have pools. And we love water as well. Id rather get in my own pool in my own backyard than being body embarassed at a mates. Plus it would give me a chance to tone up swimming again. I loved swimming before I had 4 kids. Now the 4 kids have left me like Jelly.lol Forrester 43sq We have our keys (3/6/11) Now it's time to decorate (that's the fun part.lol) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37598 Re: show me your pool, spa etc 7Jun 06, 2012 11:24 am I am not completely sure on costs as I don't work for the company I only purchased the product. The pools are around $27K with the filter, pump, heater, swim machine etc. They are specifically designed to be small pools that you can actually swim in, and trust me, you can swim in one of these not like jets. Call the company and ask as they have demonstrators around that you can go and try one. Cheers! Re: show me your pool, spa etc 8Jun 17, 2012 11:37 am Anyone else? I'm new to the forum. I have been working for one of Australian's leading pool painters. I am pretty much amused by the thread's discussions since it is related to our business. I do hope I'd be much of a help here for your pool renovations and other issues too...
