Things to know: 1.I haven't owned a pool before and don't know a thing about pools yet because I'm English (!). 2.The pool might have 10 boisterous kids springing in and out (I'll give them more space around it than is shown) 3. Re: Comment on my pool position 2Oct 02, 2011 10:16 am Under NSW pool rules you can not have a door opening to the pool area and must have a fence between the two, so that will be a consideration. Personally, I prefer the pool to the rear as much as possible so the house opens to the garden rather than the pool although due to topography we put ours half way down the garden. If u have young kids i think its such a great idea too get a pool u will live in it,my kids are now teenages and my husband myself and the kids never use it anymore we are always at the beach.....
