Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Oct 22, 2010 9:40 am Does anyone out there have a sunpod for their pool? Basically a sunpod is a tiled area adjoined to the pool which is covered be a small layer of water and has a few small water spouts. They double up as a water feature but also serve as a place for the kids to play/wade in. You can look at pictures of sunpods here (Compass Pools): http://www.compasspools.com.au/water-features.html We've been quoted around 3000 for one of these....is it worth it? I love the look of them and we have young children so I think they'd love it. Do you need an extra pump for the water spouts or can you use the main pool pump? Any feedback on sunpods would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Re: Pool - Sunpods 5Oct 27, 2010 1:13 pm Northbound is building a pool with a sunpod. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32825&p=461266#p461266 fairy blue has a sunpod too. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=37198 I love the sunpods, they look awesome. After seeing them in those other build threads I got compass pools to send me a catalogue... even though I probably wont be building for a year of so. Let me just say my folder for dream things for my house build is massive and it can only get bigger until we actually do build it!!! Good luck an show us some pictures (mainly so I can drool at it) if you do end up getting one. I also wrote on her build thread but I think she's been too busy to hop online lol. Also looked at Fairy's landscaping thread but there was no metion of anything regarding pools? I too love the look of Sunpods...was just hoping to get feedback before we definitely agreed on it. Putting the pool back to February so at least that gives us a bit more time to think about it.
