Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Sep 03, 2009 4:16 pm Hi everyone Looking at putting in an inground pool in time for Summer and thus far we like Compass Pools Vogue 8.2 and X-Trainer 8.2. Has anyone recently installed a Compass Pool? Were you happy with it? What has the project ended up costing you? Our other option is to get DIY pool kit. Has anyone done this? How much can you save? cheers, Michelle Building in remote, regional Vic We have roof, frame, walls, plumbing, electrical....but no bricks! Re: Cost of Compass inground pools? 2Sep 08, 2009 9:59 pm Hi Michelle We have installed a 9.4m Compass Vogue pool in nova jade (bi-luminate) with self cleaning, water feature, extensive concreting and paving (about 50sq m), fencing around entire pool, pool cover and roller, pool lights, solar heating. The project won't be completed until probably November - the pool was installed before the house even started due to difficult site. This should all come in at about 55k - unless I dramatically change anything I have already chosen. I think I have included everything - there are pics on my thread. Fairyblue also installed a Compass X-trainer (nova jade also) so you might want to have a look at her thread also. This will be my second pool I have installed and the Compass is by far a superior quality to my previous one. I also strongly recommend in floor self cleaning - baracudas are not user friendly! Thank God for pool heaters! Now I can turn my pool into a hot spring Re: Cost of Compass inground pools? 4Sep 09, 2010 7:51 pm Installation of our Compass Vogue 9.4m pool started today. We are having the in-floor cleaning system, pool cover, large sunpod, 2 lights and pump etc and ours will come to about 41K. Fencing and paving is in addition to the 41K I will be posting progress pictures in my thread tomorrow.
