This should give you an idea of which one and stop the leak for now. 3xb In the pic above, you can see where the wall is still wet from the water drop. I would have to guess that it drops just under one of those tile heights in 24 hours. I did think about blocking the jets but the other end of the pool has a jet which is lower than these so was going to wait for it to drop and see what happened. Talking to another friend up here who has a pool and they have had to fill theirs every day. Had someone come out and inspect it and no leaks found. Is it possible that there is that much evaporation from it? I have had the house for a couple of years now and it has never been this bad for level drop. Normally about 1 tile a week, not a day. Here's a pic of the other jet... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Pool Plumbing and leak finding 6Apr 26, 2007 7:38 pm Well I'll be damned. I have now spoken to 4 different pool owners around the area that I know and their pools are evaporating at the same rate. The dry season must be here and sucking it up!!! I have never seen it this bad before.
Note to self: Buy a cover and soon! Lucky we don't have water restrictions. Thanks to all who read the thread. Re: Pool Plumbing and leak finding 7Sep 29, 2011 8:58 pm Is it possible to have a faulty hydro valve causing a leak? A plumber came out and has decided that the above valve is stuck and letting water leak out??? Im not sure if he's actually gotten the big picture. Its been pouring down (and will be for the next few days) and on top of that my partner left the hose running a week ago and the whole side of the house and under the house was wet. Anyway i can check if the pool is truly leaking from the above problem? We only asked him out to quote on new downpiping...Now were getting a quote for 8k to fix the pool... If you make sure all taps inside and out are turned off, what does the water meter show if you leave it for a while. 2 20235 Hi all, I am hoping someone has some ideas as to what is causing my bathroom leak. The leaking appears to mainly happen when we turn the sink basins on. It takes a while… 0 5080 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Are you doing this with a building permit?
