Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Oct 17, 2022 1:33 pm Hi, Can anyone tell me what these are in my pool please? I asked my local pool shop and they said that a lack of calcium in the pool results in it being pulled out of the grout between the tiles, creating holes. The white nodules inside the holes are hardened calcium. I'm supposed to brush to try and clear the nodules away. When I took a second look, I noticed that the pattern of these holes/nodules is perfectly regular, in the same places around every tile, so now I'm questioning how that could be. I don't think I have much of a chance of dislodging those things, and they are everywhere.
