I would never have picked it myself but that grape colour looks really nice. Good choice Michelle. Re: help needed - splashback colour 24Aug 26, 2008 5:10 pm Gotta say that plum looks a lot better than I expected!. One problem though, my pic's on the wall, cushions and vases etc are all red i think this could clash a bit. I wonder Dan if you would post a pic of my kitchen with Dulux Chalk USA or Crewelwork? PLeeeeese, as I went and picked up these colours today from Bunnings ( I swear they think Im stalking them!) This would definatley be a safer option I think.
Cheers Re: help needed - splashback colour 27Aug 27, 2008 11:57 am Hi Dan,
Hope Im not bothering you too much, but i must admit it is definatley alot better seeing my kitchen with those colours. If its not too much to ask can you please post a lightish charcoal colour. And for Paula's sake a white also thanks you soooo much i really appreciate your talent Cheers Re: help needed - splashback colour 29Aug 27, 2008 12:17 pm The light/grey charcoal is my favourite so far. Well done d@n!
I don't think it takes too much attention away from the granite like some of the others have. Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: help needed - splashback colour 31Aug 27, 2008 12:27 pm Hmmm........ i'm going to go against the grain here and say go with black.
The timber has a beautiful warmth to it already and with the frosted glass and timber overheads you would be able to pull it off. It would be dramatic but not date as much as some colours.....or if you are one who likes to change them often.... Plus there seems to be plenty of light in there so you it should look really stunning. Sorry, but thats my 2 cents... Once again Dan.....you're a legend with Photoshop - well done!!!!! Re: help needed - splashback colour 33Aug 27, 2008 1:50 pm Rachael Dan hope your still talking to me The girls at my work would like to see an espresso colour, a darker charcoal and a blue red colour. espresso...dark brown? blue red.... purple? Pick your colours... http://www.colorpicker.com/ Re: help needed - splashback colour 38Aug 27, 2008 3:27 pm I hate to admit it but I reckon the grey and charcoal tones work better than the browns/reds in this case......ow! Well done d@n! I don't think it takes too much attention away from the granite like some of the others have. Jo Not gonna get in trouble this time Mike! See above!! I like the darker charcoal as well. It has to be something that doesn't detract from the granite and the wood as they are such features. Just don't get all switzerland on me to do list. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Hmm 40Aug 27, 2008 10:14 pm Hi Rachael, really tough to choose glad it's you & not me but for what it's worth. The two which stand out from whats been posted r 494040 & white.
White nice clean & goes with just about anything just not a stark white, in a dark perhaps a darker colour than whats been posted closer to bench top colour ??. hard to balance off between bench & timber colours. good luck by the way gr8 work d@n Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7157 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3259 |
