Calacatta Nuvo Splashback

Really want to have Calacatta Nuvo for both my island and main benchtops plus the splashbacks but just can't afford it

Was thinking i could just do the splashback in the nuvo and then choose a standard ceaserstone colour for the main island and rear benchtop.

The cupboards will just be white and I was thinking black handles.

Just wondering people's opinion on what standard colour they think will work well with the Nuvo?

TIA
Sorry I realised you posted this a while ago, but just wondering what you decided to do.

I'm a bit worried I will end up with the same predicament!

Ended up not selecting Nuvo. Actually found a Quantum Quartz marble like colour more which was cheaper (STATUARIO QUARTZ) and looked at it for the island bench but again it worked out too expensive because they had to buy another full slab for our waterfall edge.
Ended up just with a standard colour, Quantum Quartz in Luna White. Splashback is just going to be large format 600 x 300 white tiles.
All the white will be broken up with matt black handles/tapware and we are going to run the flooring (vinyl planks) up the back of the island bench with also some timber look shelving.
No worries thanks for getting back to me! Your selections sounds great, I love white kitchens and timber. Do you have a build thread to follow?

i know this is an old thread but just posting a photo of my Calacatta Nuvo splashback...

Hey sco77k,
What's the lighting config look like from inside the overhead cupboards and how much was it?
Hi Jonny, the downlights under the cupboards are hidden in a cavity under the bottom shelf so you can't see them from inside the cupboards.

Unfortunately I cannot give you are price for these as my kitchen reno was priced as a whole.

Cheers

Ah thought so, they're LED's I take it?
There is a much more affordable Calacatta by Affordable stone in Brisbane. Paid for the entire kitchen tops and Splashback in their stone. Ended up cheaper than using Calacatta Nuvo just for the Benchtops. getting a quote wouldn't hurt. I'll try to post a picture

Yep LEDs!
Using calacatta backsplash in the kitchen would be great with LEDs, you can find a lot of designs & ideas through Google, and I will pick some for you. and you may follow these inspirational kitchen backsplash ideas.

Calcutta Nuvo Caesarstone for benchtop and splashback

i used it in my last kitchen as a splashback and feature wall around sink (pictures below), my favourite stone by far

2nd kitchen is all calcutta nuvo
Thank you! Both look great, love it
your second is going to be my combo, just finalising details.

What finish are your cupboards?

Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you,

i've done 3 kitchens now, and this will be my last for at least 10-15 years..

the cupboards in my current kitchen are a Satin finish in Dulux Lexicon Quarter, they have 30% gloss, but much more of a Satin finish...
