Browse Forums Kitchen Splashbacks 1 Nov 01, 2014 12:58 pm hi new to the forum. My husband and I are building the Atlantique mk4 33, Carlisle Homes. We had our colour selections last week, i'd love some feedback on what ppl may think it will look like! Im loving the caesar stone bench top colour and the white cupboards underneath then the top cupboards will be the laminex jericho, unsure what these cupboards will look like with the splashback colour chosen of sea elephant. Concerns are the jericho laminex wont look nice with the splashback! I have googled pics of the sea elephant splashback i do love the look of the colour its warm and think will look lovely with the white too. Our floors are going to be floor boards in the castello Olivia Walnut Thoughts on this please?! Anyone had similar colours to these in their kitchens? would love to see pics too Cabinets (overhead) -- Laminex Natural -- Jericho 039 Base cabinet Doors and Panels -- Silk Finish-- Polar White Benchtop -- Caesar Stone -- Linen 2230 Glass Splashback-- Sea Elephant P11B7 Re: sea elephant colour splashback opinions 3Nov 01, 2014 8:04 pm Hi Kylie The sea elephant is quite a dark colour and so is the Jericho, even the ceaserstone is darkish. We went with dafter neutral colours. White cupboards and white shimmer bench and the front of our island is gunmetal grey to go with our grey tiles. We also have black appliances and range hood to break up the white. Anyway hope others will chime in for you. PS I love wood floors Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 Hi - thanks for your reply. Yes I think 'Ill go for whitish with very speckly bits rather than pure white something like this.
