Hi I am just wondering if anyone has installed a "slumped" or "textured" glass splashback in their kitchen recently?
We are building our home and we are going with a contemporary/ modern style (not too outrageously modern). We have chosen bamboo flooring, with warm neutral colours throughout the kitchen. The stone bench tops will be a sandy/almond colour and because the cupboards with be beige/ cream we thought we could install a "bamboo" style slumped glass splashback (parallel lines going upwards) in a taupe colour which might give it a wow factor.
Any opinions?
Is it harder to clean than a normal glass splashback?
Will the small indentations on the glass leave grease from the kitchen, and be hard to clean?
Has your slumped glass given your kitchen a wow factor?
Do you think the slumped glass look may look outdated /old fashioned or it will compliment the contemporary look?
