Browse Forums Kitchen Splashbacks 1 Feb 22, 2014 7:07 pm Hi, We are trying to decide on a splashback for our new kitchen. The splashback will be a main feature however I still wanted to stay with neutral colours. Tiles are preferred as glass is slightly out of our budget. Stone bench tops will be Nombre and cabinets will be a classic white. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Re: Advice please :) 2Feb 22, 2014 7:57 pm Hi foster92 We also used tiles for our kitchen splash back. They were 600mm x 600mm - cost us about $120 (plus labour - but we laid them ourselves) Gives you a glass like look - but heaps cheaper - here's a pic to give you more of an idea Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Settlement 1/2/12 New Shed 23/3/12 Slab poured 27/3/12 Frame complete 4/5/12 Roof complete 1/6/12 LOCKUP 29/6/12 Our new build blog http://kareenhillsownerbuild.blogspot.com/ Re: Advice please :) 4Feb 22, 2014 8:42 pm I've gone for white, as I am hoping the smudge marks from cleaning won't be obvious and I won't have to polish it so much to get it mirror clean. I am hoping I can just wipe it over. I have white gloss cupboards and a white bench top.
