Browse Forums Kitchen Splashbacks 1 Mar 28, 2013 10:42 am Hello, Just wondering if anyone had done or seen this done. We have a darkish existing kitchen and we want to add some exta light. I suggested to my husband that we put a window splashback in. We didn't want it to be a massive job so I suggested putting smaller windows in between the studwork. We will measure them on the weekend. Has anyone done such a thing? Re: Window splashback between the studs 2Mar 31, 2013 3:57 pm If you are doing this as a splash back I'm not sure it will be possible as a set of windows, or that it will look any good. There is another thread on splash back windows here http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=63478 that might give you some ideas. I don't see why you can't do what you want, just get someone to check your roof system. Is that your weatherboard home in the avatar? As the first loyal member I will supply the window half price... Thanks Ed How nice are you!!!! I got my husband to take off a weatherboard to see what the studs are like. Unfortunately there were electrical cables running right through the area and he said the studs were pretty close together. So it may have to wait until we can rework the wall to put in a long window instead. I am sad because I thought small windows would look cool.
