We are having a red \ maroon colored splashback which will match the feature walls throughout the house. I guess that is the theme of our house. We are also adding a few select tiles including the niches in the showers with the same color. Re: What colour splashback... 7Mar 20, 2008 1:23 pm Great link!!!!

My dining table will be a dark choolate square with leather chairs which I haven't purchased yet - so any colour would do.. My couches are chocolate brown - although look black leather and so is my tv unit. I plan to use vases/flowers with bright orange/white/green colour scheme. My cushions wil be stone/light brown/white modern theme, rug hasn't been chosen yet something modern and neutra with a splash of colour.. I also have to buy some art, my husband is Aboriginal and has some native dot painting artwork that we can hang up, I also have some great canvas black/white pictures of my kids I was thinking of choosing the splashback colour and working around that with my decor.. We have the best place here in Berry that sells great original pieces, I have 2 now. I love them. They are beautifully framed and cost me a bomb! So will his background reflect upon your style of home???? RE – colours and obviously artwork……. Hay… I have a website that sells Aboriginal Art; I’ll post it for you later!!! I’m now starting to get a feel for you….(so to speak!) I can’t find a colour I like on the site! I’ll choose a Dulux one for you when I get home!!! I love Aboriginal artwork too - especially the ones with red earthy tones - so gorgeous!! I can't stand the fake 'rip offs' - you are obviously getting the real thing - you can tell by the price tag!! But so worth it DH does have some input into things he likes - but we mostly agree on our tastes which is funny because we grew up in completly differene home types/environments, we both like neutral tones with a splash of colour - we like modern/clean look and we both hate clutter I'd love to hear some colours you have picked out for us and would love to know that website Thanks again Belinda Re: What colour splashback... 14Mar 20, 2008 4:21 pm Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: What colour splashback... 15Mar 20, 2008 4:36 pm Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: What colour splashback... 17Mar 20, 2008 5:07 pm Colours I would like you to look at.

I like them all!! Because I am a scaredy cat I'm thinking the Blind Date, DH likes the Cajun Brown though!! I'm just scared that it will date.... I think it will look great with white and silver though....hmm to bite the bullet!! Re: What colour splashback... 19Mar 20, 2008 5:29 pm The Mocha Wasp is slightly darker than the Blind Date….nice colour!
Tell DH…. He has good taste! That’s my choice! No it won’t date……any more than all the browns and neutrals you are having!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which by the way is out of date this year…just thought I would rub that in.
