Would like some advice from some people with an eye for design...
We will be having a 5.5m kitchen wall, with 5.5m of benchtop, a central cooktop with rangehood (90 cm stainless steel box - style), and overhead cupboards.
DH would like a feature calacatta marble splashback.
Our ceilings are 2.7m high - therefore the splashback behind the cooktop will need to be vertically orientated.
I can't see that 2 horizontal and 1 vertical piece of calacatta marble will look good? Especially with all the joins...
Would you put a glass splashback behind the cooktop and have marble either side?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
