I really like these square splashback tiles, I'm used to rectangular ones by now! Are they 600x600 and porcelain? Yes, http://take2-customdesigndownslope.blogspot.com 07-10-09 omg they have cut the block 14-05-10 we finally have the keys Re: Show Us Your Splashback 44Oct 16, 2010 10:58 pm Thanks XT, that's the same colour we've chosen. First time we've seen it actually posted. It looks great - is it really as amazingly vibrant as your picture shows? It's definitely a statement. Re: Show Us Your Splashback 46Oct 18, 2010 8:04 pm Here's my kitchen splashback! Been drooling over it for ages waiting for my tiler to put it up! They are 30cm x 60cm tiles. From the distance it actually looks like a glass splashback since they are so glossy... I picked a grout colour to match the tiles for a more streamlined look... There's still a whole box left of them but they are currently using them as a door jam since the tiles are soooo heavy. Once I've got my overhead cupboards in, I'll probably get someone to take the rangehood down and tiles the inbetween section so it's all streamlined... Re: Show Us Your Splashback 47Oct 18, 2010 8:12 pm flagstaffIV, from distance this seems to be very close to my ideal colour Actually, my ideal glass splash colour featured a few weeks ago in Packed to the Rafters - it made a very brief appearance in the kitchen of that girl that Carbo "was going to marry" but who set him up with her gay room mate . Is it a 300 x 600 size tile? I'm in the process of trying to find a nice tile for our kitchen splashback - builder put gyprock where the stovetop is going to be and you can't put a glass splashback on gyprock if you are using a gas stove! So, as opposed to ripping out the wall that already has the cupboards installed (##%$#$#% builder) we are now looking at tiles. Would love to know where you got them as well - I see you're in Brisbane? If you can't mention names on the forum could you possibly send me a PM? Thanks Re: Show Us Your Splashback 56Oct 27, 2010 4:31 pm how clean are all your kitchens!!!????? do cleaning fairies come with a new completed house? they better... cos I will be so GRRRRRRRRRRRRR if I dont have cleaning fairies with my new home! just beautiful kitchens, you must be all so pleased with the results. well done everyone.
