Behind the cooktop is 6mm cement sheet and a piece of stainless (from bunnings specifically for this purpose), the other bits is laminate we had cut to size and stuck straight on plaster. Excuse my average silicon job. I dont have costs broken down as a few other bits and pieces were put through on the same transaction but we did 2 places worth of splash back laminate for ~$250 including cutting, glue was about $30 and the stainless was $100 so all up around $250 for the splashback per place. We have put it here in a rental and in my mums place i guess i can check back in a 6 and 12 months and see how its wearing both being looked after and maybe not so much. Thanks mate.
