How many of you have had the desire for a dishwaher that turned into a full-blown kitchen/floor/laundry renovation!
Well that's what happened with us.
After a lot of research we are now staying at Mums while our house has been turned upside down and a new kitchen is being installed.
Our choices have been:
Laminex Polar White Silk Finish cabinets
no handles look - recessed aluminium handles that sit on cabinets behind doors and drawers.
Espresso Ligna to breakfast bar
CeasarStone White Shimmer - 20mm with waterfall edge
Splashback TBD, probably tiles as need 6m2 to go behind freestanding rangehood to celing - undecided on light or dark colour. ****appreciate all suggestions for splashback please!!!*****
Floor - Keope Wave Rain Grey 450mm rectified porcelain tiles.
LEDs underneath overhead cupboards
Appliances:
Bosch built under dishwasher with cutlery drawer
Euromaid Pyrolytic 12 function oven
Highland 3 burner gas burner
Robinhood range stainless and curved glass
Sink will be double bown undermount - clark riva and Culino single mixer tap with inbuilt filtter (has two spouts in one tap)
Laundry will probably be bunnings flatpack.
Kitchen as it looks today:

Will be sure to upload more pics once benchtops and floor are in.
Would appreciate any suggestions for splashbacks, can't afford glass if it is $500 m2 as we need about 5.6 m2 (I want the splash to go to the celing behind the stove).
I would love a metalic champagne glass if I could afford it!
I was thinking a large format dark tile, but unsure it it will be too much/too dark?
Also considering Hog Bristle quarter for the walls.
