Need some advice on how perfect the wall behind a glass splash back has to be. Thinking of light green splash back. Also the average cost

I will go for glass tiles instead.

It is partially correct. There are two types of glass. Float Glass which is standard glass with the slight green tinge when you look at the edge. StarFire Glass has no colour in it at all. hugh61 said they were thinking of a light green splash back. The back of the glass is painted in the light green colour. It doesnt matter what colour you choose the price stays the same(except for metalics) Where the price does change is if you want light green on starfire glass. This usually adds $100m2. So in short for a light green colour on float glass depending on how many powerpoints and the supplier will cost around $250-300m2.
