Hi,
Just wondering what the laws are in relation to splashbacks? We are building a new house and I was talking to the tiler yesterday and he said it is compulsory to have the splashback along the back wall and the one side wall that is painted (the other side wall is laminate). Is this correct?
There have been that many stuff ups in relation to our house it's not funny. We were going tiles but the company went bankrupt 4 days before the tiler come and the stupid builder hadn't checked that they had delivered the tiles.
We are now thinking about a glass splashback and I remember reading someone's thread about using a template and taking it to a glass place and getting them to cut it is much cheaper. Does anyone remember that thread as I can't find it now?
I have attached a not very good photo of our kitchen (as my husband took it when they were putting the kitchen in and sawdust was flying everywhere) and was wondering whether you would have the glass splashback on the back wall as well as the left hand side wall which is to be painted or would it be okay only on the back wall?
Thanks,
