Yeah it is.
I was in that display home yesterday and the cooktop is only 600mm so it seems a little silly to have two rangehoods!

Yeah you are right - guess I was not paying that much attention when I was there. Re: Help needed with splashback colour 24Jan 04, 2009 3:32 pm Zerosignal Michelle I think you need the contrast of colour, silver will make the kitchen dull…….Sorry Husband………. I still like the red, I think it will work well. Hi Michelle, My partner and I have settled on a teal colour for our splashback with white cabinetry and a QQ benchtop in Ice with dark floor tiles (yet to be determined). You will have to imagine below replacing the red with a teal. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My main concern is regarding the green tinge in most glass splashbacks - will the teal colour be fine with this? I am leaning towards yes but I have been unable to find anywhere so far that I can test my theory. Thanks Zerosignal…….green on green is perfect. The Teal will counter out the green tint in the glass, the paint if it is a strong colour, will come through just fine. Helps lift the whole kitchen
I think the metallic aspect of the splashback is overused at times. If you have high gloss doors, dont go a metallic splashback as you will have shine&shimmer overload and will look over the top and brash. Just the colour and reflectiveness of the splash will be more than enough. However if you have a semi gloss or stain finish on the doors, then a metallic splash helps create that wow factor. The glass itself can come in either clear - which has a green tinge due to the iron content starphire - no green tinge and advisable for colour backing other than green The metallic element is an additive to the paint i.e. like mixing cordial with water it dosent come premixed. So most colours will be available in a metallic finish. Kitchens are like finger prints, no two are ever the same!! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3269 |
