Browse Forums Kitchen Splashbacks 1 Dec 09, 2008 1:27 pm We got our glass splashback organised from Focus Glass in Zillmere, Brisbane. We were in the middle of our house being built and they said they will get the right measurements and there will not be any problem. We signed the contract trusting them and weeks later than the promised date they came with the wrong sized glass and abused us that we were the ones who were wrong as because of the building they couldnt get the right size which was apparently already discussed with them and it wasnt just their workmen even the boss called and abused us. Such unprofessional and rude people, no respect for women, I wonder how these people do business if they treat clients like this and the boss kept telling me according to the contract it says this and that and we cannot cancel it and apparently they had not given us that piece of paper which said that. We trusted them, and this is what happened. They troubled us so much every second week they would call and make an appointment and never turn up and give reasons that the glass broke or the colour is not right or something other happened and at the end we had to tell them we will take them to court for harrassing us, and only then it was done. I just wanted to share our experience with everyone planning to get a glass splashback. Re: Glass Splashback- Focus Glass 2Dec 09, 2008 1:37 pm Wow that is not good to hear at all!
I got mine through deco glaze and they arrived on time, measured and left. About a week later they came back and installed it all. So if you still need glass splash back maybe try them. Re: Glass Splashback- Focus Glass 3Dec 09, 2008 1:51 pm Thanks for letting me know but we finally got them to do it last week after telling them we will take them to court but its nice to know that you had a good experience with your glass splashback. Re: Glass Splashback- Focus Glass 4Dec 09, 2008 2:10 pm That sounds terrible but what does it have to do with you being a woman?
Sounds like you might have a lead there though Ed, best of luck! |
