Browse Forums Kitchen Splashbacks 1 Nov 23, 2021 7:42 am Hi all, Hoping to get your opinions/advice on sprucing up my apartment kitchen. It is approximately 10 years old and has never been modified. A friend suggested that I could install a smokey grey mirror splash back on the far wall above the stove top and paint the tiles on the RHS above the sink a lighter colour; possibly to match the white cupboards below the counter top or the wall colour. What are your thoughts? Do you have any better ideas? I want to make the space feel as bright and big as possible without overcapitalising. I like the idea of the smoked mirror splash back, but I would consider running it at the same height along the wall with the low tile splash back too. Also, I would paint the walls in the kitchen a more dramatic colour. It doesn’t have to be bright, but could be neutral with just a bit more punch than plain white.
