I asked LG on which of their front loaders I can stack the TDC700E dryer and they responded it is not recommended to be stacked on ANY of their front loaders. duhh??? the dryer came with a stacking kit and it can't be stacked to any of their front load dryers??? just wondering what is the brand/model of the front loader washing machine that you have? I'm hoping it's the LG WD11020D as this one has great reviews in productreview.com. thanks in advance! Re: Need a clothes dryer 23Oct 21, 2010 8:59 pm I had a Simpson drier of 1970s vintage which weighted a ton but worked well. It was so heavy that I reckon wall mounting it was going to be an engineering masterpiece. So I put wheels on it-four castors so it could be wheeled out when needed. A five metre power cord was fitted and when it was cold it would find double duty as the loungeroom heater. I looked as it as 2400 watts of wasted heat so I fiited a filter to the exhaust, cracked a window and hooray free heat! Re: Need a clothes dryer 24Oct 21, 2010 10:41 pm I've got an Asko condensor model. It works as advertised. Very reliable. It's about seven or eight years old now and needed minor repair a couple of years ago. Other than that no dramas. I expect it to last for another decade or more probably longer. It's in a small laundry in the middle of the house. There's a large Leifheit pull out internal clothes line attached to the wall right in front of the dryer, so when it's on the Asko dries the stuff in the dryer as well as the clothes hanging on the internal clothes line - and as another bonus, in winter I leave the laundry door open and let it heat the house. As well as that, the water collected is used on the garden. Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13832 Hello It is good to have a planned bathroom reno to suit your budget and design, living for 10 years I think you need a bathtub 4 10371 Looking to start the journey of becoming an owner builder in SA.
