Is there any problem with using rainwater for laundry washing??? Is the water fairly clean ???I imagine there is some dirt and sediment Ny wife is worried about white sheets , shirts not being clean. There is supposed to be a water diverter, which stops the first flush of rain and dust from entering the tank while the ball float seals off the dirty water. If you find a better way then let me know as well - devank Re: Rainwater for laundry - any problems??? 4Aug 01, 2008 12:10 pm Get a frogmouth 'leaf catcher' as well in that case any leaves missed out from the first flush do not enter the tank. we got quotes for leafguards but too expensive (min 5K) so opted to have this contraption fitted (sells in Bunn!ngs for approx $60)
