This sounds a little over the top! Any suggestions on who I can use to get it done after handover? Kitchen people? Cabinet people? And what sort of rough costs would I be looking at? The laundry is about 3.5m long, 1.6m wide. After 4 years - we're in! I noticed in our junkmail that Bunnings and I think Mitre10 do flat pack laundries. I think their 2-door full size cupboards start at around $189? We will definitely be going there when it's our time, as we are on a very tight budget! It's worth having a look anyway! Good luck! Sounded a good price for each piece - they had wall cupboards, floor cupboards, linen cupboards, etc.
Ray. Second Time 'Round Re: Laundry cabinets post-handover 7Apr 27, 2008 12:34 pm Hmm I know with PD we get an extended laundry bench in our promotion, however, I would also like to get another long bench oppisette the current laundry trough to have more storage space etc...
Ideally thought I would like to get it in the same Laminex colours that I have in the other laundry cabinet being supplied by the builder.... I'm thinking of just getting it done by PD to save the hassle, but I'm assuming I'll have to fork out a fair bit for it to Re: Laundry cabinets post-handover 8Apr 27, 2008 1:34 pm Quote: I'm thinking of just getting it done by PD to save the hassle, but I'm assuming I'll have to fork out a fair bit for it to Yes they know how to charge. You could always wait till handover and get a cabinet maker to build it for you. Laminex colours are all standard so they can match it for you. Paula You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want. Cabinetmakers use MDF because its cheap… 2 9979 Thanks mate. Yeah good points! Leaning towards Option 3 to get a bit extra space in the cabinets but not going too crazy high (and expensive). Would require a mini… 13 39767 Agreed. I just found out today the certifier has not given the final sign off. 2 4098 |
