Laundry too small, now door won't close

Hi there,

Recently we purchased a 10kg front loader washing machine and "stupid me" I didnt measure and now I cant close my laundry door... Does anyone have any ideas or solutions that I could try???

Cheers,

Dave Huxtable
Replace the door with a bifold?
Change the door to open out of the laundry rather than in to it.
You could replace it with a sliding door but the cheapest solution would be a folding door. They are not to hard to install as I was even able to do it..

Here is a pic and a link to one such item.. Hope this helps..

Ps. I'm sure Bunnings or such like would stock something simular..
Just take the WM back to the store and swap it over.
If it is a under bench one,cut the plaster away, remove a section of stud '
and push it into the cavity.
