Is the gap between your laundry benchtop and overhead cupboards the same as in the kitchen?
If not, what height is it at?

If not, what height is it at? Re: Overhead upboards in laundries 2Jun 12, 2011 5:30 pm In our kitchen it's 78cm. In our laundry it's 80cm. There's also a 1cm difference in the bench height. No rhyme nor reason. The extra height in the laundry is beneficial for us as the cupboard is above the handwashing sink. Wouldn't want to knock myself out, washing! Re: Overhead upboards in laundries 3Jun 12, 2011 8:33 pm Ours is 60cm in the laundry (tile height-have 30 x 60 laid vertically) I am a shortarse so this is a good height for me mind you I still can only reach the bottom shelf. We have two 60cm side cupboards and I wish we made them 3 x 40cm. When I open them I have to swing away from the or get hit in the head. We don't really have them in the kitchen. Overhead upboards in laundries 4Jun 12, 2011 8:45 pm Ours are the same for both kitchen & laundry - 700mm Re: Overhead upboards in laundries 5Jun 13, 2011 9:31 pm Thanks everyone. My cabinEtmakEr is suggesting 600 (2 rOws of 300mm tiles). Our overheads are only 300mm deep. Should be ok for a 175cm tall person?
