Browse Forums Laundry Re: Do laundries need blinds? 25May 02, 2011 12:34 am I will be putting wooden venetians in the laundry, bathroom and toilet even though its all privacy glass - will proberbly put it in the ensuite too. I like to be private and even though all of those rooms are on the dead side of the house and are east facing it still gets mighty hot here in summer (45) so being able to cover them up makes a huge difference. My current bathroom window has just lace as its too small to have a proper curtain and its west facing but under a carport so does not get any direct heat on it but it is stinking hot in there ( i have to hang towells over the top to make it a little more bareable). I figure wooden venetians will work well as i can let the light in easily (currently i have to scrunch and loop the curtains over the rod) and keep them nice and closed for no one to see in.
