Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances Re: Double oven or two ovens 8Jun 27, 2018 3:03 pm We have had both. I changed a single oven that was about to burn the house down to a full double oven which was equal size top and bottom. Only disadvantage I found was that the bottom oven had less cooking options than the top oven, something to check out if you go down this path. Recently I have changed this oven to a Siemens pyro oven and a 45L combi steam cooktop with a warmer drawer underneath it. This fits inside the same footprint as the old double oven. This method has given us a lot more flexibility as we have a small oven for the two of us, and everything for when the tribe is around. Hope this helps.
