The existing rangehood is: - 900mm wide - fixed-type (ie. completely self contained) - installed below a shelf - not properly ducted to outside The replacement will need to be of similar configuration, with rear rather than top exhaust outlet (we'd rather not have to modify the shelf above it). From what I can find on the market, the only suitable replacements are the cheap/noisy/unreliable models around the $250 price point (Westinghouse, Chef, Robinhood, Omega).
