Does anyone have these appliances or any feedback they could share? Thanks Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 3May 02, 2015 5:03 pm We had the 900mm freestanding gas/gas cooker, dishwasher and rangehood. We were in our house for two years and never had any issues. The dishwasher obviously wasn't the best quality, we had a couple of issues with it but no major faults or anything. We couldn't afford to upgrade at the time so I have no regrets. If anything, you might consider upgrading the dishwasher, but if you aren't in a situation to do so, I wouldn't worry about it 1st build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59376 *New*-2nd build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70324&p=1154282#p1154282 Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 4May 03, 2015 10:54 am Thanks stellabella. Kind of what I thought. We will just go with it and replace if we really need to down the track. Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 5May 13, 2015 7:32 pm Cool . Thanks mckinley for the advice. Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 6Jun 15, 2015 11:23 pm McKinley, has to upgrade to baumatic , has wifey did not like the quality of venini appliances. it costed us $620 to upgrade. as many people has commented in the blogs, kitchen is the wife's area and dare not question her decision. I also jumped on the bandwagon as well. Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 7Aug 29, 2015 1:35 pm Hi vennie, we didn't upgrade the appliances but are now wondering if we should. Do you have pictures of the baumatic appliances? Also, did you upgrade to two stacker doors (one to family and one to dining?). Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 8Aug 31, 2015 1:29 pm hi McKinley, I will try to post the picture of baumatic appliances with the model numbers. As you will be getting brand new dishwasher(latest model in the market). personally if you are building for yourself , i would suggest you to go with baumatic and if it is for a rental don't bother. we have checked with Master's home guys and they suggested us to go for baumatic as they are of good quality compared to venini. We are getting a 2 door stacker door for our dinning area by default and 1 sliding door from RUMPUS( for Sheffield 29). we did not upgrade to 2 door stacker. Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 9Sep 01, 2015 11:37 am Thanks anyway vennie but I was able to get a copy of the brochure from Cooks plumbing. Not 100% sure if we'll go ahead with the upgrade. Thinking thinking! Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 11Oct 06, 2015 9:44 pm We have Venini appliances in our current kitchen and to be honest they are terrible. I have a ceramic cooktop that simply doesn't heat up enough, it's so frustrating to cook on but it looks like you're getting a different cooker. We have the dishwasher which washes well some nights and others not at all. We've had someone out to look at it a few times as it's also leaked water out the front and there's been issues with the seals. The oven is horrible to cook in too, very hot and smoky. If you can afford to upgrade I definitely would but that's just my opinion. We move out of this house in two weeks and I can't wait to cook with decent appliances. Hope this helps, sorry to be the bearer of bad news Loving our new home, Upper Hunter NSW on 2.5 acres Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 12Oct 10, 2015 12:59 pm Thanks for the feedback Danette. We did think about upgrading but at last minute spent $1500 to upgrade to a stacker door to the dining room - so that was it for us. The other thing too was that we didn't like the look any better of the baumatic range hood. Compared to the venini one they looked the same. How old are your venini appliances? The dishwasher in particular doesn't look that flash but we will just replace it if it's not great. Edited to add: we might regret later on not upgrading appliances but we had gone over budget already with upgrades and hubby was cracking the whip lol Re: Venini kitchen appliances - feedback? 13Oct 12, 2015 9:34 pm Hi, I hear you, we've gone over budget on our kitchen and I'm looking at ways to change a few things. Someone once said to me, pick one thing you would absolutely love to have in each room and try to get that one thing. I think we all compromise on what we can and can't have building a new house. Our appliances are fours years old so hoping they've improved since then and you don't have any dramas with your appliances. Good luck with the build and your husband I have one of those too, lol.
