Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Apr 15, 2015 10:43 pm Hi guys, We are finalising plans for our new house and we are going to have 2 X 600 ovens side by side but, since my wife is rather short (4 ft 9) I worry about her leaning over open oven doors to get things in and out. My great Aunt has an older oven with a door that opens on side hinges like the comercial ones. I think this would be a great idea but I have no idea who makes them and whether they would cost a premium! I really can't understand why more ovens aren't made this way honestly! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
