Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Mar 05, 2015 10:53 am Hi, My husband and I have just brought a house and our fridge is not going to fit I really don't want to sell it because we wont get our money back for what we have spent a few years ago. I would love some suggestions on how we could get the fridge in which would be cost effective, the main issue is the width. See a photo of the area, sorry its the only photo we have at the moment as we don't move in for 2 months. For example are we just talking about the fridge being a few millimetres too wide for the space or is it too high, too deep and too wide? Also keep in mind that fridges are meant to have a bit of space around them for air to circulate. If the fridge is only a bit too wide I would think that the cheapest option would be to simply remove the bit of cabinetry to the left of the fridge in your picture (provided it's not structural to the overhead cupboard). Not sure if that works? I was told the issue is the headspace clearance requirement on step 4.
